U.S. Air Force medical units across the globe have teams that deploy to support missions away from home and teams that respond to emergencies at garrison installations. The Air Force required assistance in managing deployments and Home Station Medical Response teams to ensure appropriate staffing, equipping, and training to maintain a readiness posture.

Intreped Partners provides five Medical Emergency Managers (MEMs) serving as subject matter experts in medical readiness to support program management at five different locations and different levels of organization. Our MEMs provide program management, medical emergency planning, policy guidance, and analytical support to all-hazards emergency medical preparedness. We support medical triage, treatment, patient decontamination, preventive medicine, and logistics teams composed of active-duty airmen. Intreped MEMs ensure the active-duty response team members we support are ready to respond to natural disasters, aircraft incidents, and attacks (including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear incidents).
Intreped has assisted with 23 medical response team readiness assessments and provided expert advice in the development of 11 major Air Force medical contingency plans. Our efforts ensure response teams are prepared, optimize effectiveness, and ultimately reduce risks to the warfighters.
