Fort Campbell—home to the 101st Airborne Division and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment—required the integration of disabled control systems in 400 buildings into a centralized monitoring platform for real-time, remote oversight of building utilities. This initiative enhances the resiliency and energy efficiency of defense-critical infrastructure.

2023 through present
Intreped Partners’ team of experts performs comprehensive building audits and inventories for all facilities slated for integration into the Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS). We improve environmental conditions across the installation by replacing, repairing, and reprogramming building control systems. As part of this ongoing effort, we support the maintenance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority to Operate (ATO) for both the Fort Campbell UMCS and the Enterprise Energy Data Reporting System. Our team provides real-time HVAC monitoring and supports the operation of a manned UMCS command center. s impact.
Within the past year, approximately 150 buildings have been successfully connected to the UMCS, resulting in over $1.8 million in energy savings. Integration efforts are ongoing, with the remaining buildings scheduled for connection. Our work continues to drive substantial improvements in energy efficiency while strengthening the installation’s resilience against evolving cyber threats.
